Poker Face’s lyrics are smeared with the emotional intensity of a manic savant who will leave your mind stained with the imagery of the world around you, which is the mark of a true poet. This Serious Joker of Hip-Hop has two characteristics that many hip-hop artists lack: lyrics and showmanship. Poker Face lyrics consist of complex rhyme schemes that convey messages of seemingly paradoxical points of views, for example his song Multidimensional, “THE CANVAS IS YOUR MIND THE EASEL IS MY CD, MY LYRICS PAINT WORKS OF ART THAT ONLY EARS CAN SEE, THESE LONELY TEARS I BLEED LEAVE INK STAINS ON PAPER, DESCRIPTIONS OF IMITATIONS OF LIFE FROM POKER FACE’S”. As you can see his lyrics are refreshing, thought provoking and can be emotionally cathartic.

His performances are just as strong as his lyrics. He performs like an actor at a Broadway musical with his emotionally thrilling voice and movements. At one show he jumped off the roof in a strait jacket and in others he has come on stage fighting off an orderly who is trying to bring him back to the asylum. First the crowd is stunned then entertained by a true showmanship.
