Filmmaker Rahiem Shabazz talks putting in Hard Work on Odell’s Roundtable

Sometimes we let minor setbacks prevent us from pursuing our dreams. Rahiem Shabazz tackled major setbacks but kept moving forward. After being incarcerated he pursued his passion of filmmaking. His persistence had him take a 2 day gig with Tyler Perry into a full time one and working for the Director. He also interviewed Magic Johnson by not taking no for an answer and being prepared. Known nationally for the amazing work his Elementary Genocide documentary series. A series that documents the School to Prison pipeline & how it aggressively attacks black children. It was my pleasure to have him discuss a myriad of things on the Roundtable
