Donald Glover, aka Childish Gambino, used an impressive freestyle encore during his Sydney concert last night to call out some of the world’s biggest rappers. Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q weren’t free from Gambino’s wrath as he graced Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion for a Splendour In The Grass 2014 sideshow.
In the footage of Gambino’s freestyling (below), he spits nasties about his three fellow rappers, but tries to stay at least a little modest in the process. “I’m the best rapper, definitely top 5,” Gambino raps. “I cut their head off, that’s every rapper living. That’s Kendrick, that’s Drake, that’s Schoolboy, that’s everyone! I don’t give a fuck! I’ll fucking kill you!”
Gambino even made sure to drop some Aussie references. “I’m chillin’ out, surfing, over at Manly Beach,” and “I’ve been surfing off the Gold Coast,” Gambino rapped. He even managed to mention an Australian boy band in his rap, saying, “I’m from Australia like 5 Seconds Of Summer.”

Childish Gambino has called out Drake, Kendrick Lamar and Schoolboy Q during a fierce freestyle verse during his only Splendour in the Grass sideshow at Sydney’s Hordern Pavillion.
“I’m the best rapper, definitely Top 5,” Gambino spits. “I cut their head off, that’s every rapper living. That’s Kendrick, that’s Drake, that’s Schoolboy, that’s everyone. I don’t give a fuck. I’ll fucking kill you niggas.” The verse also featured a few local references including Manly Beach, the Gold Coast, and even local One Direction franchise 5 Seconds Of Summer.
